Olympia 1928
Toy Soldier Display at the Royal Tournament

The Royal Tournament in 1928 at Olympia, Earl's Court, London, included a performance of the Toy Soldiers by the band and some companies of the School. Whether or not this was the first appearance of the Duke of York's at Olympia is not known.   For its performance at the 1928 Olympia Royal Tournament, the School developed a display of toy soldiers in battle and repeated this performance in the School's subsequent appearances at the Olympia Royal Tournament.
